hi. anyone had any dealings with this new hitec aurora 9 ?? i was thinking of getting a 10cg futaba .. then i saw this hitec.
man its wacky. and a reasonable price. dunno about the touch screen though.
especially if u are gripping the box during a mad flying session and suddenly it changes to another stick mode !!
wow .. that could be fun.  thing is .. all these new 2.4g radios have their own system quirks.
so as far as i see it ... u HAVE to stick to the same brand. (no buying cheeeep rx,s then!) oh .. and the new 14ch futaba reciever cost a arm n leg.
wouldnt want to bounce too many models egh?.
one other thing i noticed .. like the JR .. the hitec has got digital click switches on the box.
the 10cg has at least still got those instant turn rotary dials .. 3 of them.
 ?? russ
(that hitec does have loads of super features)

hi all .. well i was THAT close to getting the Futaba 10cg because the shops i phoned wasnt too keen on the after sales on the Hi tec .. although it does look nice. well i was just going to order the futaba .. when the guy said the JR DSX9 can go into my stick mode ( mode 3 )
well i was really happy .. because ive gone down the JR road.

so thats that then! JR DSX9 it is.  im really pleased with it. the spektrum recievers are brilliant too. so much choice.

The Fut' 10 is miles too dear, you can get a used Fut' 9C at a reasonable price, but you'll need the 2.4 module and the receivers, but the 9c in my mind is still the best radio for the money

The 9C with a spectrum module would be cheaper with cheaper receivers?
