Have a look at this written by Vic Grin

http://spadcombat.co.uk/spad/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=287&topic=46.0

I normally find you cant predict exactly what section you're going to get but i've built loads using this method and they've all worked great Grin

If you want a more symmetrical section have a look at how the wing is built in the CorroWot section - its pretty similar - you just slide the spar in afterwards coolsmiley

Alternatively what we tend to do now is:
Cut correx out with flutes going spanwise, dogfighter 40" debut 48".
Chordwise about 21" or 22" in one bit, then you start marking and folding.
From one edge mark 3" for ailerons, from that mark make another 6" for spar, then from that mark make another 3" for leading edge fold. Cut out 1 or 2 flutes at leading edge to assist folding.
We use Evostick Impact adhesive so put glue on spar and correx, wait until tacky and glue together. Now some people put a lenth of correx between the leading edge and spar for extra strength, up to you really, if so glue that in the same as the spar.
Now fole the wing in two and glue where it touches the spar and at the trailing edge leaving about 3" of the bottom bit of correx for the ailerons. Hold down for 5 minutes.
Turn over and remove one or two flutes where the ailerons will bend and that is your wing complete.
Servo goes on top operating both ailerons, might have to put a bit of extra correx to lift your servo up a bit.
Hopes you can understand this and it helps.

Thanks for the advice i will try this... i trust you were using 4mm correx to make the whole wing. I have tried with the 2mm stuff...made a balls up with the flutes the wrong way and with 2mm, its bends where it it wants to.
Guess its preference 2 or 4 mm!!
Thanks once agin

yeah sorry 4mm we used. found 2mm a bit flimsy, no doubt someone on here uses it though, hopefully tell you how they do it.

2mm works fine for me, with the flutes chord-wise I just mark the wing at 25% for the spar, and stick the ailerons to the bottom skin (4mm) then fold it over! Wink Comes out sort of symmetrical Huh
