The Derelict is a nippy 36" span combat design for up to .30 2 stroke motors and three channel RC. It has great flying characteristics, handles better than the Dogfighter (in my opinion) and has a good turn of speed, which has advantages and disadvantages in combat.

Building a Derelict is pretty straightforward, the 'V' tail is the only area which can put people off, the tail needs bracing which can be done using a number of different materials, and a 'forked' pushrod is needed for elevator control. The flight characteristics of the Derelict make these extra little bits well worth the trouble, here's how we build ours. |

Here are some of my Derelicts, I currently use an MVVS .28 with standard quiet pipe and find the motor likes an apc 9x5 prop. |
